Lots of practice for the Peace Proms dominated the work recently. The official rehearsal is on next Thursday, 8th February in the Hub, Kilkenny.

Moyle Rovers U11 A hurling V St Mary's ended as a draw.
Moyle Rovers U11 A football team beat Cahir by 1 point.
Moyle Rovers U12's won by a goal and 2 points against Ballybacon.
Some of the boys play for Clonmel Commercials and beat Fethard by one goal.
In soccer, Clonmel Town under 12's beat Dungarvan.
Some members of Mr. Bergin's class were involved in an U11 hurling match for Moyle Rovers against Carrick Swans which ended in a draw. They played U11 football for Moyle Rovers against Grangemockler, which they won by 6 points to 3.
In Ms. Wall's the class are studying the Maya Civilization in history and the class are working in pairs to do in-class projects on the topic for display in the classroom.
Quite a few of the children in Mr. Bergin's Class had successful outings in various disciplines over the Summer. Ellie Franklin achieved 3rd Place in individual mandolin and 3rd place playing fiddle in a Céilí band at Cahir Feis.Connor O' Gorman came 2nd in the Munster 'B' 600m in Templemore. A number of boys played an U12 C semi-final in Cahir where they lost by the slimmest of margins following extra time. Karen Egan won 'Cub of the Year'.
Ms. Wall's Class had a great first week and created lovely self portraits in art.
