6th Class completed their Junior Achievement Programme 'More than Money'.

 

Huge thanks to Noreen McCarthy for her involvement in the organisation and delivery.

 

 

13th February 2018

Well done to Marguerite Buckley and to her brother Tadhg, who represented the school in the All Ireland swimming competition on Sunday in the National Aquatics centre. Marguerite competed in the 50m Freestyle and the 50m Butterfly events. Tadhg also competed in the 50m Butterfly event.

Well done to Ruby and Louis Carroll who competed in the All Ireland B's Cross Country Championships in Clarinbridge, Galway at the weekend. In very challenging weather conditions, both acquitted themselves very well.

Well done to Billy Tierney, who has been selected for the Under 12 South East Soccer Regional Squad. 

Well done to Jake Forristal, who won the Munster Championship in Darts at the weekend, while representing the Tipperary Youth's Team.

 

 

9th February 2018

Well done to Michael O' Driscoll who won the County Boxing Championships in his division last weekend. He will now progress to the Munster Championships.

 

Congratulations to Marguerite Buckley who had a very successful weekend in U.L in the Munster/ Connacht U12/13 Swimming Championships, placing in several events.

 

 

2nd February 2018

Congratulations to our 6th Class, who participated in the local Credit Union Table Quiz. 

Lucy O' Brien, Rebecca Acheson Dennehy, Éabha Dolan and Ruby Carroll finished in third place overall.

 

 

25th January 2018

27th September 2018

6th Class have been writing English Poetry and stories, learning about early Christian Ireland, using charcoal and exploring line drawing in Art and learning some English and Irish poetry. Our Students' Council, choir and band members are busy preparing for the Open Day on 29th September.
